Granted, we’re a little late on this, but I believe, considering the rather mind-boggling trailer you can view above, Battlefield 4, graphically looks insane.

DICE and Electronic Arts the guys we know behind the franchise announced last week the release date for Battlefield 4: Second Assault. Battlefield 4: Second Assault will be released on February 18th for Battlefield 4 Premium members on most consoles and of course PC, and for all the rest two weeks later on March 4th.

Battlefield 4: Second Assault will feature a variety of maps many of which, if you’ve played numero 3, include four fan-favourite maps which are:

  • Operation Metro
  • Caspian Border
  • Gulf of Oman
  • Operation Firestorm

All of which are re-imagined, reconfigured with Frostbite 3 graphics and Battlefield 4 gameplay.

In the coming months, Battlefield 4 Naval Strike will be the next DLC for the developers shooter and will be launching sometime late March for the ‘premium’ members.

In this fourth, yep, fourth expansion we are told players will experience intense water-based combat as the Chinese armada takes the flight to the sea, including access to new weapons, gadgets, amphibious vehicles and four new maps.

  • Lost Island
  • Nansha Strike
  • Wave Breaker
  • Operation Mortar
