Children of Morta enters the final stretch
Of the Kickstarter. That wouldn’t fit in the title box…
There’s a few Kickstarter campaigns that I’ve been monitoring over the latter months of last year and into the early weeks of 2015. I haven’t backed any since Pillars of Eternity and Torment: Tides of Numenera; but both Children of Morta and Shadowrun: Hong Kong have held my attention. While the Shadowun Kickstarter has ended (which I’ll post about shortly) the Children of Morta Kickstarter campaign is entering it’s final 48 hours.
The initial goal has been met, and since has been exceeded, leaving a couple of stretch goals just tantalisingly out of reach. The Playstation 4 and the Playstation Vita versions have been met with, unless a surge of funding comes in, only a couple more of the goals are realistic. At the time of writing local co-op and a brand new chapter are only 2k away, with the Wii U version and Arena challenges a further 7k and 13k away respectively.
I’m happy that Children of Morta has been funded; it looks beautiful, has an interesting concept and, thankfully, is coming to both a console and a handheld that I own. Perfect.
