Liege debuts a new trailer
And shoots up my most wanted list.
A Kickstarter success of last year; Liege set a modest goal of $15,000 dollars before smashing through that target, and a number of stretch goals, before settling down at $81,000. The stretch goals in question meant that Liege will appear on Playstation 4, Playstation Vita and PC, Mac, Linux and Wii U in addition to Sony’s platforms. I knew the game was a strategy RPG but I have always been a little unclear as to a few of the specifics, in particular how the combat worked.
Thankfully the team at Coda Games have released a trailer coinciding with PAX East, where the game will be playable on the show floor. The video in the header of this post shows a brief glimpse of the combat, which looks to be a mix of Frozen Synapse and the recently released Transistor from Supergiant Games.
The art is beautiful, as is the music, and with the game already playable hopefully it won’t be too long before the game is in our hands (and on our screens.)
