Lorne Lanning, the genius behind the Abe franchise, spoke at GDC about Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty; the budget, the price and the future. Beautiful, though the lack of Abe’s trademark catchphrases is the only downer in this particular video, though I’m sure it’s coming. Oddworld: New ‘n’ tasty should be with us sometime this year and should, if Lanning’s chat is to be believed, cost about $30. Maybe a little too much, but that’ll largely depend on the quality of the title. It might also give me an opportunity to complete the original game for the first time.
